Nomahs Sunday Pepper (Nomahs)
Sire: SS Sunday Chant Dam: Sha-Mon’s Pepper
This 1995 black mare is a granddaughter of Money Creek’s Rockledge. Although she was handled very little before we aquired her at 8 years of age, she’s become the best mare for trimming and handling that we own. She has produced leopard foals, blanket with spots, and blue roan with spots. Pepper, her 2005 colt by our foundation stallion Tobys Black Lightning (Splash), is a leopard. She had her second Splash foal in 2006, a blue roan filly with patches of frost on her hips. She gave us another leopard colt, Bandit, in 2008; and a blanketed colt, Rocky, in 2011.
Toby Majestic Dart (Maj)
Sire: Tobys Black Lightnin Dam: Tobys Piasa Trixy
Majesty was foaled on May 31st, 2009. She is a bay with a white blanket and black spots and a small star. Splash’s breeding is strongly Toby and Red Eagle. His mild temperment has carried to all his get. Trixy brings not only Toby breeding, but also Blue Bear x Bear Step. As a Dartag’non daughter, Trixy adds Patchy F416 and Chief Joseph breeding to this wonderful mix. This filly is very friendly and has an easy disposition, mixed with an air of sophistication. Maj will be a future brood mare and is not for sale. (Pictured at 4 days old.)
Piasa Liberty (Libby) – Retired
Sire: Quinta’s Fire Dam: Peacock’s Merry Power
Libby is Supermom and Superhorse. She is intelligent and level headed in both the pasture and under saddle. Now retired from foaling, she was great at foaling time and we had no problems imprinting her babies. As a result, her foals are very people friendly and easy to work with. They have excellent conformation as well. She gave us a gorgeous bay snowcap colt (Shadow) on Easter, 2003, and a blanketed bay colt (Joey, from Splash again) in 2004. She had a Splash filly in March, 2006. All of these foals are FPD eligible 97%.
